    IMPORTANCE OF SLEEPWe all know the role of sleep in our lives it is the basic need of human beings.  This is so interesting to know the importance of sleep in human body and it has been claimed that it is necessary for us to take 8 hours  sleep to keep us fresh and active for performing different activities. Some people are not able to sleep properly because of various reasons so they should take sleeping pills to regulate their sleep.It has been known from England that prolong sleep is simply the waste of time. Body only needs food in good quantity so sleep less can calm our mind. So this is not important that for getting rid of tiredness prolong your sleeping time instead take a nap.We can see the importance of sleep by observing children that when they are infants they sleep a lot but as they pass through stages of life that sleep time changes. One will be fresh after taking 3-4 hours’ sleep but other will not be free from tiredness after taking 9-10 hours’ sleep. In this regard discussing their sleeping pattern will be amusing. Surely most of us have not seen giraffe sleeping that is because of his elongated neck. Similarly horses, cows, buffaloes etc. sleeps for very short time period but pet animals usually sleeps longer than wild animals. The interval of sleep is based on the amount of food they eat like lion eats in larger quantity they sleep longer. Animals that are herbivores that means they consume only grass them do not sleep well. So we get to know that food that contains all nutrients helps us to sleep more. In early period, people of sub-continent eat banana and drink milk before for good sleep. It is very vague idea to not eat anything before sleep. It is necessary to have something before sleep otherwise it will create hindrance in sleep. There are some factors that help in bringing sleep that are: Take bath before sleep, do not forget to exercise, and listening of light music. Many people have habit of studying at night but whenever they feel like sleeping they should stop that right away and should go to sleep for body to work accurately. People have a habit of drinking tea or coffee after dinner so that is also one of the causes of not adequate sleep. No doubt sleep is very essential for us but people who count their sleep hours  and get worried if they do not take the desired amount of sleep.But this is nothing to worry on. They should see whether the sleep relieved their stress or not
